Finding Light in Darkness

A place where we can all scream together, question God and find our individual lights again.

At Widowhood Wisdom, I write from the heart. You will find real, honest truths about becoming a widow at 55 years old, raising boys transitioning to adulthood and the general craziness of life. You are welcome here, just as you are.

Welcome

Welcome home. Home where we can be ourselves. Our angry, messy, joyful, loving selves.

I am a mother to teen boys. I am a semi retired Corporate America dropout who now has a part time job on my church's staff. I am a dog mom. I am a lot of things. The one title I wish I didn't have was widow. I am a widow. I lost my husband at 55 years old and am simply navigating this new reality with as much grace as I can muster, along with a lot of anger, questions and naps. Join me. You are home.
